I’m Jolene Hey, founder of Certainty Labs. I advise leadership teams facing complex decisions by helping them make competing priorities, dependencies, risks, and options visible so they can align and move forward.
For more than 20 years, I’ve helped teams get unstuck across organizations including Boeing, Equifax, and Bayer. I'm an Aerospace Engineer by trade, starting with an early internship supporting International Space Station work that taught me how to navigate complex systems where every decision affects something else.
I’ve partnered with leaders on challenges such as demonstrating compliance progress after a cybersecurity breach, securing alignment for tools that improve engineering collaboration, and expanding legacy commerce and product data into new markets. I’ve also helped teams bring disconnected data, onboarding processes, and service requests into clearer, more workable systems.
The details vary, but the pattern is familiar: important work slows when teams lack a shared picture of the decision, the constraints, and what needs to happen next.
I start by listening to the people closest to the work and reviewing the documentation they already rely on. Then I map the gaps, dependencies, and impacts; bring the options into a clear view; and help leaders choose a practical next step their teams can understand and adopt. You leave with the reasoning and documentation behind the recommendation, not just a decision, but a useful artifact to build on.
Clients have described my work as bringing “clarity and alignment across teams without oversimplifying the enterprise constraints” and turning “ambiguous situations” into “clear, executable plans.”
If your leadership team is circling a consequential decision or struggling to align a complex initiative, I can help you see what’s getting in the way and decide what to do next.
